I am now a stuff member of School of Computer Science and Technology(School of Data Science), North University of China (NUC). Before joining NUC, I was working on my doctoral thesis with Prof. Yongluan Zhou in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science (IMADA), University of Southern Denmark. Before then, I had obtained my master degree at Renmin University of China.

My research interests range across a variaty of field, such as database, data mining, cloud computing, and big data analysis. They now can be subsumed by the a intersecting discipline entitiled "Data Science".
Current Projects
My current focus is on multi-paradigm analytics of big data. I am now working on the following two projects.
- (1) Optimization of Large-scale Stream Processing
- optimizing the resources utilization for large-scale distributed stream processing.
- (2) Approximate Query Processing (AQP)
- applying the piecewise linear models to enhance the approximate query processing (AQP) in interactive analysis of big data.
